This afternoon we come to terms with the fact Madness has finally cancelled their US Tour after postponing dates for almost two years due to the pandemic. We listen to some of the early output on the 2-Tone label (via original 45 singles!) and also dive into some of the 2-Tone inspired bands of the era and go “a step beyond” into some other inspired music and just straight up good tunes!
We also open the show with Rhoda Dakar’s brand new single, her version of Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World”, available on her Bandcamp page as a digital or limited edition single.
