Tonight on 100% Ska we start off with two new singles from the NYC scene from The Far East and then The Slackers! Then, as part of a celebration of the new James Bond movie, we listen to some of the great ska tracks and interpretations of themes to Bond, and close it all out with a goodbye to Everett Moreton, drummer of the English Beat, who passed away this week.
In between these segments, you’ll hear some amazing ska from the 80s, 90s, and into the 00s, including some early 80s adjacent-ska from right here in New Jersey!
If you like the James Bond segment of the episode check out the great mix that friend of the show, Ted Morris, put together of various 60s ska renditions to themes and odes to 007!
