Your weekly dose of a ska DJ trying to emulate your favorite old college radio show. Always 100% ska, always 100% vinyl, and always getting buzzed on Jamaican rum while recording!
Earlier this week, during an “get to know your candidate” interview, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio affirmed his love for ska (along with reggae and punk, including The Clash).
As a celebration of this momentous declaration, I thought I would play all NYC-based ska bands (and a few regional bands that made their name in the city) in this episode, to get Mayor de Blasio updated on a bunch of current local bands and bands he may have missed!
